It deserves its 3 stars. Fantastic base for discovering Braintree. Lots of outstanding food, we appreciated it. Spacious bathroom. The staff here were helpful.

The hotel was very clean, service was TOP NOTCH. It's located off the beaten track. Besides, Bagshawe Cavern is 5 minutes' drive away. Beds were comfortable and shower facilities and a hair dryer in the bathroom. We will be back.
